Attempting to remove the detritus of the last few decades- dead electronics, misfitting clothes, unused or abused toys, left-overs from the offsprings.
Sometimes gracefully aging curmudgeon. I consider science to be a natural activity born of curiosity, and the universe to be wholly material, and nature to be understandable, although total understanding will be unattainable due to the horizon of our lifetime, even all our lifetimes. The human senses are woefully inadequate- we've only really come to understand the motions and events in this universe because we've invented others. Religion is a tired and exploitive result of stagnation and feudalism. Gods are refutations of curiosity and thus refutations of humanity. Babel is the default. Art is not science. (And for all of this I can only be grateful to the Random Quanta, if I'm going to be grateful at all.) Basically, I'm an aristotelian omnivore.
